Have you ever been excited about strategic planning before? I certainly hadn’t.
I recently joined a company as CEO and was looking to bond the team together through a new strategic planning process. I had heard about the EOS system from an affiliated company and wanted to learn more. I went to Amazon and bought the EOS book Traction: Get a Grip on Your Business. I was hooked. The concept was surprisingly simple. I have been through long, boring strat planning processes that result in a 100-page book. That wouldn’t work for our team.
We then needed someone to lead us. We wanted someone independent from us, who had experience in running businesses, and also was an expert on EOS. We found all that in Mark Abbott, VTH Partners.
